I missed Tuesday's epsiode and just downloaded/watched it.

That veto competition was WAY too intense. Giving all that stuff up for a crappy veto? You've got to be kidding me. And Jameka must be the nicest, DUMBEST person to ever play the game. Why she gave up five HOH competitions for a veto is beyond me.

And then I don't really get Jen's motivation to form an alliance with D&D. There are more people on the other side of the house, which would benefit her more than allying herself with two people. And how did Danielle convince Jen to vote out Kail? I mean, she couldn't threaten her with anything; once Jen takes herself off the block, she's safe, obviously.

Man, I do not get this season's players at all.

What do you mean? D and D wants Eric gone. Jen, Zach and Dick will vote to evict Eric IMO. Amber(swore on daughter's life), Jessica will vote to evict Kail. Not sure what Jameka and Dustin will do. I want Eric out 4-3 so I hope one of those 2 vote him out.

Well, Danielle asked Jen "if you take yourself off, can you guarantee me your vote against Eric?"

My point is that, it wasn't like Danielle promised Jen safety against a nomination or anything, so why was Jen so easily convinced?

Jen was so easily convinced because if she took herself off, her agenda was already to vote for whoever was up against Kail. Kail is her only friend in the house so it was easy for her when Danielle said "if you take yourself off, can you guarantee me your vote against Eric". Jen was going to vote that way anyways as she would never vote out Kail.

To play both sides would be my guess, tell them what they want to hear.

Not a chance that would happen - why, out of the goodness of their heart?!

Also, this is the US remember so she actually would only be taking home just over 60 grand (after the tax man takes his share)

$60k? Are you kidding me? The tax man isn't going to take 76% of her winnings. Out of the $250k. I bet she takes home $165k

What happens to the money she gives up?

If it goes to a charity in her name, perhaps whe gets a deduction so the total she is giving up isn't 250K

Didn't they do this in the previous seasons?? where they gave up a portion of their winnings but later said it was only to see how far they would go and that they would not be forced to give away their winnings. Anyways I want Eric to stay I can no longer stand Dick and Danielle, so I'm really hoping that Dustin, Amber, Jessica, Eric and Jamika band together and pick off Danielle and Dick, then go after Zack Kair and Eric, I really, really want Dustin to win it all he's the only decent one. This is how I think it'll (hopefully) go down, Zack, Jen and Dick vote out Eric and Dustin, Amber, Jamika and Jessica vote out Kail. This would FINALLY SPICE UP THE HOUSE, because this season is getting BORRRRRRRRRING!!

I think it has been interesting this week and will continue to be so whether or not Eric leaves. I would rather see the sparks fly if he stays though.

right, my bad - I was thinking she was only winning 125 grand (half of 250 grand) rather than half of 500.
I have heard taxation in the US on game show winnings etc are very heavily taxed ie. up to 50%

I couldn't be happier that Jessica won HOH. She's about the only one I can stand (save the annoying voice).

Not everyone lives in the Eastern timezone or has time shift (for Westerners). I am just glad someone broke the ice as I was itching to.

Holy crap, calm down. It's a flipping TV show, FFS. I didn't do it on purpose - people have posted comments about the show right after before, so I didn't think anything of it. Sorry that I'm not a freaking network producer and that I'm not aware of all the rules and exceptions of broadcasting times according to all the time zones of the country. Why would you open the BB thread if you haven't seen this show any way and you know that some people would have watched it by now?

Jerk.

You earned it dude. The title is no spoilers. You gave out a spoiler. The proper response would have been:

Sorry, my bad.
