Parekh was not great on that first pp2 today. His team mates didnt seem to be looking for passes when he was skating through the neutral zone and he was clearly looking to pass it, and then he made two long back passes for entries that seemed... unsmooth.

Maybe confidence, maybe he's not buying into and playing a more established system, or maybe his teammates aren't buying into/ expecting the way he plays?

It would be interesting to hear more about how hes gelling with guys in the room.

Using Montreal as an example, its clear that team leaders (Caufield, Suzuki) were making huge efforts early on to bring lane up to speed and feed him confidence and gel him into the team, and now Hutson seems to be doing similar with demidov.

Who is doing this for Zayne on our team? Is someone?
