Have the Flames won even one faceoff? What a terrible period. Gavin McKenna save us!!!

One preseason game doesn't mean anything. But last year Wolf carried us, and it looks like that might be the case again.

Flames haven’t looked good in any of the segments of the preseason I’ve been able to watch.

That carrying into the season wouldn’t be the worst thing.

It's pre-season. I think we need to cool the McKenna talk for now. Besides, even if the Flames finished dead last they wouldn't win the lottery. If you are a long time fan you know that is how it goes.

Yup, it's a preseason game and the 2nd game at that for many of these Flames. Obviously would be nice if they didn't spot the Canucks 4 in the first but whatever. Like you said, it's disappointing for guys who really needed a strong game tonight though. At least those guys have 2 more periods, poor Provsetov doesn't have much more time now and will need Cooley to be worse when he comes in.

I would be all for McKenna. But we know Wolf is too good for us to tank.

May as well cheer for playoffs because the other option is 9th or 10th place.

Ladies and gentlemen. Your 25/26 Calgary Flames.

That was a horrible period of hockey. Someone better be pointing that out in the dressing room.

I know that was rough, but it'll make the the Gridin hat-trick and 5-4 win all that much sweeter.

Turnovers galore. Missed assignments. Canucks wide open behind dmen.

Brutal.

First 5 minutes was good. Then wheels fell off.

Guess just win the next two periods.
