Not sure what to say, the NHL is trying too hard. The off-site draft concept is fine, but drop the "draft house". Just pick the players, display player highlights, quick interview and move on.

Matthew Schaefer's mother, Jennifer Schaefer, passed away in February 2024 after battling breast cancer for two years. Would have been a great an emotional moment if not for the terrible format. Great kid though.

officially it's 3 minutes but I have no idea when those start. Was set at 3:00 for a long time before it started ticking.
