That shot of the older Oilers fan sitting next to the younger ones, taking a swig from a bottle, and then pointing at it…almost as if to say “yeah, this is how you cope with being an Oilers fan”

I get we are all feeling it tonight but this is over the line.
Kelly has chosen to make Calgary his home and has done a lot of good things here. He is a really good person who cares deeply about this city, and has been open and vulnerable about his mental health challenges. You have to say, in a timeline where Tkachuk and Bennett leave the Flames before their primes, depriving the Oilers of two Stanley Cups is about as good an alternative as could be imagined.
Their fans were so thrilled about our stars leaving. Not just leaving, our team being “dismantled because of them”. Hope they’re all still as ecstatic about it

Skinner is a bad goalie but he handles his interviews so much better than the team's leaders. I feel a little bad for him, seems like an ok guy who needs to get out of there.
