Strange take at this time considering we have scored 3 goals in the last 2 games and nagging injury Backlund has been in on 2 of them. He's obviously needed in the lineup.

Sure worked out well with Monahan at the end..
I think backs is finally coming out of whatever ailed him and thats why. Should've been sitting when he was clearly at 40-50%.

Possibly, but what are you advocating for? I don’t think too many people on CP imagined them in a playoff berth at this stage.

Who doesnt think Wolf is awesome? Nobody is saying otherwise. Its the "historic" and "Hasek level" that is getting pushback because its statistically not true.
Flames outchanced Montreal last night...both goalies were great, Wolf was one better. Some wanna act like the Habs had 80% of the chances or something to fit a narrative though.

Expected goals were 2.7 for Montreal and 1.3 for the Flames. Again, Wolf stole the game like he has often.
But you're right king Dino, your opinion is never wrong. In fact, the Flames are really good and Wolf is just a small part of their success. Like you say.
