If it happened three months ago he's likely just as excited to meet Biden.

Being in Trump's favored demographic he's pretty disconnected from the ongoing issues. Doesn't affect him.

Maybe he should chat with his grandpa in Manitoba to help understand a Canadian's perspective.

It's not booing for some petty reason. Your leader is implicitly foreshadowing threatening the sovereignty of our nation on a daily basis.

It's not a politics thread, but I think the music to any American's ears with the whole Canada/US/Trump debate is that he's bringing jobs back to the States. That in itself is a positive. The other side of the coin is it's being lost by someone outside the US (in this case Canada). And it's being done in a brute way. Most Americans just see the first part and it's music to their ears. It doesn't buck the stereotype of "ignorant Americans" when you have pro athletes opining on something more complex which they pick a side and stick to it no matter what.


Personally I've never like Tkachuk or that family.

I don't think most Americans have the intelligence to figure out why their anthem is being booed. I don't actually think most of these people have the capacity to think for themselves. You see, everyone should want to join the USA because it is the self proclaimed greatest country ever!
