All Eva had tonight was her idol so I understand the hesitancy on voting for her.

At the Final Six, Shauhin was good to keep moving through with the plan of going to the end with Joe, Eva and Kyle, believing he could beat what many were calling the odds-on favorite to win in Joe. But the debate professor couldn't help but talk through the pros and cons of turning on his alliance with his fellow "middle man" in Kyle. Little did Shauhin know, all that did was give Kyle the fire to burn his Icarus-like wings. Kyle and Kamilla launched a smear campaign against Shauhin, lying to Joe that he was conspiring against him and had a secret idol. And, despite it being a risky maneuver, it paid off handsomely. While Shauhin thought he could stick to the plan of rolling with his foursome, he had no idea the plan had changed, depriving him the chance of making his closing argument at Final Tribal Council.
Shauhin voted off the island taking belsarius with him and giving savardandjokinen his first hit

I think if Kamilla finds a way to final three she wins against anyone.

That Shauhin move might have won the game for Kyle. Shocked Joe only got one vote. Lots of very likeable people this season but man most of it was so painful to watch. Glad to see the winner, glad the season is over.
I want to see people in Season 49 that want to make things happen to win the game. Find idols, use them, blindside, tell lies, etc. Just want some entertainment.
Would Kamila really have won the game if she was in the Final 3? I find it hard to believe but a few jurors suggested it.

I skipped through about 90% of that...the one move made winning the game is fair I guess...honestly that is the worst season I can remember. How on earth is there zero drama at the five vote? They couldn't even make something up in the edit. Mitch lol, nobody was voting for him. Kyle is lucky he won that final immunity, such a stupid risk.
Eva said her biggest move in the game was the move she learned that Kyle pulled on her and she got a couple votes! OMG loser cast.

Just an underwhelming year. Not sure what Kyle was thinking bringing Joe to the final 4, it could have gone bad if Kamilla hadn't pushed the right question at him. Mitch was the easy choice with Eva as the other, both rode coattails the entire show.
Eva just kept playing up her autism as a way to make the jury feel sorry for her and respect what she did, sorry but that's just not good enough. Great on her for riding the wave to the end but she made no earth shattering moves at all.
The jury vote resulted in a 5-2-1 split: Kyle received five votes (from Kamilla, Shauhin, David, Star, and Cedrek), Eva earned two (from Mary and Mitch), and Joe secured one (from Chrissy).
Congrats to EldrickOnIce and savardandjokinen sharing the big W and the fake CP million bucks!

Im sorry but Eva was and is insufferable the entire season. Her entire strategy was having autism, seriously? That was your plan to win a million dollars? The fact she got more votes than Joe who quite literally carried her through the game is absolutely ridiculous.
Kyle deserved the win happy the jury at least got it right other than the 2 knobs who through sympathy votes to Eva.
What a horrible season. Im holding on till 50 hoping they do something incredible but im losing faith in that. Its just plain boring, no twists no good players, cast is boring every single season. BRING BACK VILLAINS

The season 50 cast will be revealed next week, I’ll post it once it’s released. I’ve been keeping tabs on the two “casting insiders” so I have a good sense of the majority of the cast, PM me if you want any info

Interview with Kyle
https://ew.com/survivor-48-winner-ky...rview-11739538
Well, let's talk about that a little bit. Kamilla comes to you before the last immunity challenge and says “I’m not taking you, which gave you, as you like to call it, the moral go-ahead to not bring her. What if she doesn’t say that to you. I'm assuming you still make her go to fire, but how do you handle that conversation then?
I honestly think I would've lost my mind on that island because Joe and I were extremely, extremely close. We had a lot of conversations out there that mattered to me. I think I had one confessional about how to betray these people is to betray that relationship, to betray those conversations. Eva and I, our relationship was very, very important to me. And I think she would say the same to you, and I think he would say the same to you.
So by the time we're at the final four in a way, after the Shauhin vote, when I knew that Kamilla was going to get to four, I was really scared about what's going to happen. And Kamilla coming into that to me in that moment…. I knew that we would split if we went to the end together. I knew that she had a chance of winning.
I also know that it's a very strong chance of Kamilla and I are sitting there that maybe Joe or Eva wins the game. You play out those votes with every single person that goes home, you're thinking about it. So when she came to me, it was already on my mind, and I was just so glad that she did because it gave me a chance to sort of go full tilt as Jeff says, and take a shot at the million.

Such a weird season, in that I didn't particularly dislike anyone and it felt like they were amping up to play an interesting (cutthroat) game. At Merge there were so many big threats that it felt like we in for quite the ride... then it just became overly predictable and every vote was obvious. The final four was almost a given from day one, and there was never really a threat of any of them being voted out. I don't think anyone even brought up the idea of voting out Kyle or Kamilla. Eva was never a target because she had every possible advantage, and whenever they brought up taking out Joe he either won the challenge or it never went anywhere.
It made much of the season a real snorer, everyone knew Mary and Mitch were gonners, they could have merged a few of the tribals into one episode. I can't really fault any of the final four as technically they played near flawless games, but I found myself shouting at the screen on numerous occasions as the likes of Mitch, Shauhin, and Star just let them coast to the end. I prefer a season with a ton of unpredictability and gameplay, but 48 felt like handholding and singing Kumbaya by the campfire.
I also didn't particularly like Eva at the end. As someone else mentioned it felt like she used autism as her main strategy. Plus she came off as arrogant to me on a few occasions, with how she handled others. Maybe that's just because of the autism, but like how she was so easily willing to dispatch Star left a bad taste in my mouth. Then there's David who I was hoping would make final tribal interesting, but even that didn't happen. More Kumbaya by the campfire. Season 48 is where everyone talked a big game, yet no one was willing to make that big move.
I'm glad Kyle won, as I was worried they would hand the win to Eva. Kyle did deserve it, and hiding his alliance with Kamilla worked splendidly. It just felt too easy... Super easy barely an inconvenience. Too many are just happy to be in the game, and not wanting to rustle feathers. I really miss those earlier seasons when players didn't worry about how they'll come off on television and were cast based on human interest stories. Season 49 doesn't look any different. At the very least give us a themed season! Everything feels the same, right down to the same old lazy rehashed challenges.
Right winner for a disappointment of a season. Here's hoping 50 can pick things back up.

No Rob Cesternino or Malcolm? I am disappoint
Feels like we've seen Ozzy and Cirie more than enough times already, and having 3 people from 48 is too much. I hope that list is a fake, or isn't yet finalized.

Rob C, Malcolm, Jerri, Greg Buis, Penner, Lex, Abi, Jesse, Carolyn etc were cut
Amanda Kimmel and Elisabeth Filarski Hasselbeck both were cast and dropped out recently
It’s possible two of those are alternates and the cast is 20 people but the list is definitley not fake, the sources are reputable
I will say this is just one of their lists and the other source is only dropping his when he’s 100% confident as he’s not ruling out 24 people

They cut Greg Buis? C'mon every Survivor fan has been wanting him back since season one. Who wants to see Jenna Lewis again? Eww. Kind of surprised they didn't bring David back as one of the three returnees from 48. I wonder if Amanda dropped out since Ozzy is returning. There must be lots of bad blood between them.

Agreed, this was their first chance to actually have Greg back (he originally accepted second chance but had to drop out late) and they decide to cut him for an underwhelming group. And they had so many old school options and landed on Jenna Lewis.
This was the group of pre season 20 males called, whether they accepted or declined: Gervase, Greg, Sean K., Lex, Sean R., B. Rob, John Carroll, Rob C., Burton, Rupert, Fairplay, Yul, Penner, Tyson, Stephen
I know B Rob, Tyson and Stephen would’ve declined
