It's two periods...

Where is Grushnikov on development? I have been away for a bit and haven't kept up as much.

Don’t think I’d say “great”. Solid, though for sure. Need to get more pu ks actually TO the net though. They still seem awfully reluctant to shoot. Way too much passing trying to get a perfect shot.

I'll say great. They have played the top 2 teams in the league 3 of the last 4 games and are hanging in pretty well.

They are playing the top team in the NHL with their goalie that is 22-2

I dont know...yes its two periods, Barrie should have been in long ago. He dominated his 2 AHL games too. An actual PP QB

Fair.

Just usually the Flames look so boring, unknowing what to do offensively and get completely outplayed while getting dragged along by Wolf, but today it seems a bit more even on the ice, and against a great team in Washington (woah what a dragged on sentence)

Little victories for the 18 skaters in front of Wolf haha

Barrie looks way better on PP than Andersson, who we were subjected to as PP qb for like 5 years. So I agree I’d keep giving him chances as our PP could use the help.

I thought the Flames were the better team through 2, but the PDO giants the Caps have managed a lead despite not playing in the Flames zone very much at all. Goaltending, special teams, and talent...that's all it takes to win sometimes.

Let's hope the Flames can tie it up early in the 3rd and make a real game of it.

Capitals defensive play is insanely tight. Very good in their own end.

When was the last time the Flames got a shorthanded goal. Don't recall many this year.

Ovechkin in his office. Wolf's response: "Nope".
