The Postgraduates assemble and agree to go four on Kate at the next tribal council. But Myles pulls Zara aside. He wants to vote for AJ. He figures the Postgraduates are going to turn on each other, and it’s just a question of who blinks first. Myles is determined it is going to be him, right here, at Final 5.
Zara wins immunity
Myles then scurries to Kate to pitch a Kaelan vote. It certainly makes sense, and Kate would be happy to dodge one more tribal council vote out. She also gets pitched a Myles vote by AJ, who is working hard to protect Kaelan. Meanwhile, Kaelan wants to catch Myles in a rat trap.
Later, Zara has a strat chat with Kate, she realizes she has all the pieces. Each of the other four is voting for someone different
At tribal, we see each of the players write down their votes in the booth, except for Zara. When Myles plays his idol, the jury is entertained. And they are even more highly entertained when the fourth vote out of the urn is for AJ.
Alas, The jury and many of the television audience are deflate when KATE is voted out.

EP 23 was great. Glad to see Zara voted out after she made the voting blunder the week before. Myles in tough now, but hoping he can pull it off on the finale!
In the penultimate episode of the season, it’s an all-Brains final four, made up of AJ, Kaelen, Myles, and Zara, aka The Postgraduates. Usually, an alliance of four making it to the end intact would suggest a steamroll of a season, but the path these four players cut to this point has been anything but smooth.
Myles licks his wounds as he falls back into his familiar Jungle Rat position at the bottom of the tribe. AJ reads him the riot act, telling him that his attempted shot only served to harm his game and made sure nobody would take him to the end. AJ is soft-spoken, but his words are harsh, telling Myles that Kaelen doesn’t trust him and Zara doesn’t respect him, seeing him as a child who doesn’t deserve to win.
Immunity Challange: In a multi-part obstacle course that involves manoeuvring a rope, aiming sandbags at a target, and landing five balls in the divots of a narrow circular plank, Myles scorches past the competition. Even though Kaelen and AJ eventually catch up to him, Myles remains calm under pressure, gets the knack of things, and lands all five balls for his first individual immunity win of the season.
At tribal council, Zara touts her impressive move at the previous tribal, making sure the jury knows Kate went home at her hand. This probably doesn’t help her case for survival when her other tribemates are sitting there listening to what could be part of her final tribal speech. On top of that, Zara is an endurance challenge threat, and knowing that Aussie Survivor tends to end things with endurance, it isn’t a real surprise when the vote turns out to be 3-1, sending Zara to the jury.
With that GreenLantern falls.

Deserving winner to be sure...good on the jury for actually doing their job except Kristin
I get he won a bunch of challenges but really it's not like it was a fair fight. Like what was Myles, Zara, ect. supposed to do? try harder? It would be like me beating 10 years olds at hockey or something.
I don't think that scenario was ever going to happen (neither Myles or AJ would take each other to the end), but hypothetically I think it would be more of a split with Myles still taking it, as I think the underdog story and truly "surviving" gets him over the line... but I would have loved to hear AJ's arguments in that scenario.
I was impressed at how well spoken Kaelan was at final tribal though, they both presented their games very well.

Disappointed AJ didn't win. Myles is a deserving winner though. Kaelen also would not have been a bad winner...really solid top 3.
Don't think I've every seen a player like AJ though. Granted, this is the first season of AU I've watched so maybe his style is more common for them. He made some blunders, but his strategy and ability to read people and figure out the other players moves was crazy good.

Really? I thought he had a terrible read of the room...jury was not happy at all with his answers and he kept doubling down. You could see on their faces they weren't buying what he was selling at all

Sure, but I'm not sure that he was in a position where he was going to sway the jury at that point anyway. Aside from being a challenge beast, he tried to lean into his social game and flying under the radar (with his shields - AJ & Myles) - but I'm not sure what he could have said or arguments he could have leaned into to affect the outcome. If you have ideas on what he could have leaned into instead, I'd be keen to hear your perspective. In my mind his so called "shields" were always going to have stronger stories to tell as they took more risks throughout the game.
Once upon a time, there was a jungle rat on the beaches of Samoa who couldn’t be exterminated, no matter how hard people tried. Even after receiving almost thirty votes, the jungle rat continued. Weeks passed, and multiple plans to eliminate the jungle rat turned to shreds. With friends turned enemies and enemies turned allies, no matter how hard anyone tried, the jungle rat successfully played four idols. As his Postgraduates alliance secured the final four, the jungle rat again found themselves at the bottom of the barrel. Nevertheless, the jungle rat endured.
In a challenge out of a Saw film, all three guys endure tremendous pain to outlast the others. During the challenge, Kaelan focuses only on lasting another second more, while AJ butters up Kaelan’s mum by telling her how much everyone loves Kaelan. On the other hand, Myles uses those pole muscles in weird and awkward positions that somehow work for him not to drop out. However, the jungle rat cannot continue after two hours and twenty-five minutes, leaving the other two holding on for dear life.
As a dejected Myles hangs at the bench clutching his best friend, AJ goes to work on Kaelan and reiterates their final two deal. Kaelan doesn’t respond, and both precede to the last part of the challenge by stepping onto the tiniest and most uncomfortable-looking pegs for a showdown. After three hours, AJ suddenly slips and is carried to the bench by Kaelan, who then goes to JLP for his seventh immunity necklace.
The final three go to tribal council, where they jubilantly greet the jury. However, a serious-looking Zara erases their smiles, especially Kaelan’s, making him seem almost like a meme. Though ecstatic to have won the challenge, Kaelan is hesitant about his upcoming decision to choose either Myles or AJ to go with him to the end, as Kaelan previously promised both the same thing. After confering in private with AJ & Myles, Kaelan shocks everyone by taking Myles to the final 2.
Final 2 Tribal:
At the final tribal council, Kaelan’s pitch focuses on highlighting his superb physical game and underrated yet solid social game. Kaelan states he survived 21 tribal councils and only had one vote against him, as he was constantly overlooked but still had all the game’s information. Kaelan adds that he used Myles and AJ as strategic shields and took out AJ, who was considered the most significant strategic threat in the game. Kaelan finishes his initial speech by saying his social and physical gameplay was better than Myles’.
Myles’ pitch consists of pointing out it shouldn’t be physical/social gameplay vs. strategic one, but instead, of considering the numerous opportunities he took to improve his game. Myles recognises he had some mishaps and has personality flaws he should work on, but his love for the game and his devil-may-care attitude should also be recognised as the biggest tools in his arsenal. He also pinpoints that he made himself a helpful ally everyone wanted to keep as he took the heat of his alliances’ decisions and that the jury should consider his record-breaking number of votes against him as another way to look at his persistence and resourcefulness. Lastly, Myles also denotes how he used his advantages and idols to the best of their ability, how he used AJ and Kaelan against each other, and how he used them to burn down all of the jury members’ games in the process.
Questions from the Jury proceed and I guess Pkker was the theme of the day as the analogies of their moves to poker moves kept the conversations moving. Including AJ lambasting both guys for being delusional. Myles manages to defend himself reasonably well, whereas Kaelan isn’t able to protect his argument for bringing Myles and AJ to an end, as opposed to someone he could beat.
In the end, the jury cast their vote, and after a 7-1 majority and an excellent performance at tribal council, Myles becomes the winner of the season.
Congrats to ChuckieNZ who can now celebrate with an additional 250,000 of Australian funny money!

I’m pumped! This season was great and way better than any recent US seasons.
Reccommend to watch them in order? Any worth avoiding or skipping?
I've seen them all, and I watched them in order from season 1 (or technically season 3, it's the 2016 season)... that way you get to know all the players that return for All Stars, as an example... and in my opinion all the Australian seasons are better than anything the US has put out in recent memory.
And if you watch them in order, then you eventually get to the glory that is Heroes v Villains & Titans v Rebels. Chef's kiss.
