Ehh Flames had a similar one called back last year so I don't think it's clear.
The rule does say if the player plays it with his hand and it ends in an advantage for his team it can be called back.
So I do think in this case you could argue Huberdeau attempted to play it and it ended in an advantage for the Flames.

Didn’t the Flames have a goal called back on a ‘deflected’’ puck off Coleman’s glove last year? Didn’t know the league made a distinction between actual glove pass and any puck off the glove

It's funny because I was just thinking how much this reminds me of last year's playoff series against the Rangers.
The Panthers were dominant, and had a huge edge in shots and shot attempts, many of the high danger variety, but Shesterkin goalied the hell out of the Panthers and kept the Rangers in that series.
Also....rawr rawr is kinda similar to awooooo...who knows what happens with the hockey gods and these animal spirits.

Flames are dominating the Rangers with all out hard work but also good, smart plays time and again. Nice to see! A bit of 2004 vibes to this group.

Yeah I fully expect this ruling to never happen again in the Flames favour.
Like many of the video review calls, it's largely random. Such as what is considered a kick or goalie interference when you can find several mirror image plays with the opposite ruling.

Sharangovich with the 3rd most goals scored from the 2018 draft class. Nice pickup, Conroy!

Coronato is impressive. Elite shot like he has AND the ability to carry the middle to take it...I think he's gonna score some goals.
