Is there some kind of "honor code" or whatever among GMs that Calgary gets the first pass at Iginla, particularly since Jarome is in the organization? Obviously there wouldn't be if Calgary's first pick was 25th or so, but with him being ranked right around where they're picking anyways, I wonder? Probably a naive thought, but you never know.

IIRC they make up a bunch of jerseys with who they think they may get. Or maybe it's just one jersey and multiple name plats.

I think all draftees will have a number 24 jersey (for 2024), and teams can just prepare a bunch of different namebars to slap on quickly depending on the player selected.
