Looks exactly like what you expect Elias Lindholm to look like.

I think playing 3rd line is a good place for him.
He is a solid third liner for sure.

I am a bit concerned about the heavy, heavy odds for the Oilers. With the control the betting sites have developed in a very short time, you never know.

If the PBP is the Shorthouse team, I will watch. However, I expect Singh and Debrusk, in which case I will watch every other series.

Other than I hate them both, I think this is going to be an interesting series.

1. Atrocious Goaltending on both sides

2. No defence to speak of anywhere

Its going to be wild.

Oilers get to face a 3 string goalie? Oilers in 4.

Just wait - Oilers' WCF opponent will have some major injuries too.

I am prepared for the darkest timeline.

I guess it does depend on where things fall.

Using the Puckpedia pick calculator, a 29th and 92nd pick is worth around 13.4. 26th and 107th is worth 14.8.

At 25 or 26, I think it would be better for the Flames. Once you get to 27th the point value is around a 4th pick and at that point not worth the risk or bother of having the Oilers in the WCF.

I think all the division leaders would have to be outed to get that 25th. Probably worth revisiting after we know the outcome of the Vegas Dallas series.

Skinner is not Saros, I think Vancouver’s offence comes alive in this series

Petterson better. I don't think Vancouver can win without him contributing.

In order for the pick to be 25 Carolina, Edmonton, Boston/Toronto and Colorado need to win in the second round.

If Dallas, NYR and Florida win in the second round the pick is 28.

So cheer for Vancouver and the rangers this round. Then Florida/rangers and Colorado next round. Rangers or Florida losing in the final 4 would at least bump the Canucks pick up 1 since they both finished ahead of the Canucks

Especially if Demko is out, I don't think Vancouver can keep up with Deadmonton's firepower. Hate to say it, but Grease in 6.

After that, their cream puff playoff schedule is over, as is their playoffs when they finally meet a true elite team in the WCF.

That is why I think it might be better to revisit in a couple days. If Dallas loses game 7 then you are looking at Carolina and Boston/Toronto to win and push it down to 25. You only need one of them to win a series then you are looking at 26th. Decent silver lining in the event the Oilers win.

This is actually the exact opposite of what the Canucks have been the latter half of the season. The PDO normalized and they turned into a defence first squad. Obviously the goaltending is a question mark, although the kid looked downright great for 3 games there.

A lot depends on how the series is officiated. Both sides are no doubt already lobbying the league, either for more calls for McDavid or a "let them play" approach.

I think we just let everyone into the arena, weld the doors shut from the outside and set the place ablaze and call that a day.

Dust ourselves off and..."care for a Pint? Yeah. Lets hit the pub. Thats a job done!"

It's easy for me to pick Vancouver over the Oilers.

The Oilers: Perry, Kane, non stop diving. Were built single handedly by being so historically bad for so long hey they had 4 cracks at a 1st overall and getting a generational talent. Add that to their insufferable fans and somehow more insufferable media, and they are easy to hate.

The Canucks: No players to really dislike (unlike their teams of the past), built with good drafting, development and a defense first playing style. fans are completely insufferable as well, but that is a small price to pay for knocking team lottery ball out.

Vancouver Dallas WCF and Dallas to the SCF benefits the Flames. Easy choice.

Just don't let the two ass hats that reffed game 5 in the LA/Edmonton series anywhere near this series because those two pricks should have been wearing Oiler jerseys. ####ing fanboys!!!

I want Vancouver to put the Grease out this round but it really doesn't matter. Neither of these teams are beating any one of Vegas,Dallas, or Colorado in the West final. It is probably going to be a waste of 8 days for whichever team advances.

I fear the closer the series gets, the heavier the hand of the officials. There was something up with the last game of the Kings series as that was more than a bad night for the officials. Very NBA playoff-like officiating.
