There is nothing more Flames like then to win the meaningless games at the end of the season that only serve to hurt their draft odds.

Yup. Lose when they need to win against bad teams and win when they need to lose. Hard to get excited about a win at this point of the season.

I am well aware. It doesn’t matter though. They were firmly drafting 8th and are now on the verge of dropping to 9th or 10th. The consensus seems to be there is a drop off after the top 8 in the upcoming draft. I would like to see them draft as high as possible at this point so winning games like this against a team you are directly competing with for a top 7 pick is pointless.
