There are a number of people in the hockey world that I'd love to have a beer with and pick their brains for insights into the game.

When Meaghan Mikkelson does colour, I feel like I'm doing exactly that, but I don't have to pay for the beer.

Conroy doesn't have the demeanor of a GM that thought he did well today.

"What people don't understand.."

Sounds like he took some #### for the move.

Z was a pro through the whole thing.

He was mostly offered 3rds, because the Flames got Z for a 3rd.

Not retaining salary was a big factor, because other teams were asking to retain quite a bit(guessing half).

Cap space was the primary asset coming back in the trade.

Nice to get a couple picks, he understands if ppl don't like it but reiterates cap space is the key.

Zads was a pro after the trade request and the team handled it well as well.

Give the Flames flexibility to call up Coronato and others to play.

I think Hanifin touched the puck on that last PP no less than 40-50 times. Insane.

Maybe at deadline flames can be used as a dump for a 1-2 year contract to pickup a pick or two now

Flames will miss him. Can’t believe there are people who think Zadorov is better
