They have had plenty of opportunities to set the bar and punish far more predatory hits than this one and haven’t to this point. Why now? Oh right, because the guy had a flaming C on his chest, now is the time to re-write the rule books. $&@% this league is becoming a joke.

Lol. Of course the suspension ends the day after they play the Oilers. Anything to help out that dumpster fire of an organization.
I was expecting it to be 1 game, maybe 2 tops. But 4 for that hit is beyond ridiculous, especially for a first time offender. I'm glad the Flames are appealing it. What a f'n joke.

We lost a lot of skating and moving the puck through the neutral zone with the loss of Kylington.
I think we need someone dynamic on the back end and Tanev can cover his warts.
Shot blocking and chasing the puck just means you are spending time defending.
