Hitting woes continue. CP faithful still giving Atkins and crew the benefit of the doubt of their moves this past season?

Down two in the 2nd inning of game 1 is early to panic. Lots of time.

I disagree with bringing in a reliever this early. Hopefully they just ride Gausman for now. I don’t have any confidence in the bullpen guys more than even this Gausman.

If they actually gave Gausman run support would be one thing. But I think he's right up there for starters with biggest lack of support. So it doesn't give fans a ton of confidence when they go down early.

I wouldn't be shy about getting Kikuchi ready though, the Twins clearly have an effective plan for Gausman.

Lol to all the easterners complainingabout the start time to these weekday games. This is what viewers in the Pacific and Mountain time zones deal with, so suck it up!

Coaching to be patient is one thing. What the Twins are doing is simply astonishing. Gausman is a CY Young candidate and led the league in K's. Yet the Twins haven't had one bad swing. C'mon eagle eyes Jays fans. Start looking for anything peculiar when the Twins are at bat. There might be a buzzer situation going on here

Lol. There is no buzzer situation. That’s done with as the consequences next time around are heavy.

No hits through 3.

It's still a bit early, but they have to eventually get on base.

The Jays are complaining about calls which have all been correct against them, while the one actual horrid call bailed them out last inning

No mental toughness and an embarrassment

Blue Jays frustrated already, arguing balls and strikes. That was a strike from the looks of it.

They are going to have to start hitting the pitches that are over the plate. The ump has a big strike zone so deal with it.

Edit: Belts Strikeout was a bit low but they got one the earlier inning for Gausman.

Not really. Not with the way the Jays are hitting. Because it's only a best of 3 series.

Yep, looked like it caught the corner to me. Just frustration more than anything.

Definitely strike 3 there for sure. No complaints about that one.

Yikes, not the Gausman I'd hoped for.
