If anyone caught today's Barnburn episode, I happen to 100% agree with Rhett.
i also feel it would be a gigantic mistake to try and mould this roster into any version of a 'win now'. Don't overthink this. Too many of your best players want out, so trade them for futures. Start a rebuild. How many times have we heard that this is a 'young man's league' now, and how these young kids are so much more ready for the monster that is the NHL with all their coaching and training?
The players are telling you what this team is. You don't need to second guess it.
Do all that is heavenly possible to inflate Huberdeau and Kadri's numbers next season, and get rid of them too. Make it so at least you don't have to buy them out or attach big assets to make them disappear.
In 3 seasons this team can be turning the corner and being exciting. Last season there was much less excitement even though the Flames barely missed out on a spot. It was one of the tougher seasons to watch in terms of actual entertainment. Give me some talented prospects and let's watch them grow instead.

Yup. By wanting out the players are showing that they don't believe this group can win. That's as damning as it gets.
I really hope Management listens.

I wake up this morning and scroll Twitter looking for some Flames related news and it appears that Scorp and E from Entourage got into some form of twitter beef stemming from the actor Kevin Connolly referencing Toffoli as someone he wants the Islanders to go get.

Kevin Connolly comes off as a huge prick reading through his twitter replies.
Not sure what I expected from a d list actor that got lucky with Entourage hitting it big but unreal how quick he goes to personal attacks and can't just let things go.

Who knew that Tyler Toffoli, who by all accounts is a good human being, could bring the worst out of someone
