Down the stretch run LA worried me more than Vegas. Now that LA is out of the way, I'm not feeling exactly calm with Vegas either. I think goaltending is a complete crapshoot in this series. Stone is the X-factor. And I'm curious to see if Eichel rises to the challenge posed by 97 and 29 or if he wilts. Oettinger is the one that really worries me if they get by Vegas.

People in here talking like this series will be a breeze for the Oilers. Vegas is a very strong team with crazy depth who won the division and handled the Jets with ease in round 1. They were also one of the least penalized teams in the league which bodes well in regards to keeping the McPP off the ice.

The only question mark with the Knights is goaltending IMO. But Edmonton’s goaltending is also average at best, so neither team really has the advantage there.

Vegas gets good goaltending they are the better team. They have 6 good dmen with 2 high end dmen. They have 4 good lines with high end players like Eichel and Stone. Their goalies could lose it for them and the Oilers shooters could make them look bad but if they get saves they will win this one.

McDavid and Leon played 27 mins in game 6 against LA. The Oilers got lucky they had 4 nights off between games 5 and 6. If Vegas gets the goaltending they will wear out the Oilers big guns as they still are resorting to playing a very short bench.

The goalies in these two teams are a wash, the scoring depth in Vegas are a lot deeper than the Oilers. And Vegas has better D than Oilers. Now, Vegas was the most discipline team last season, it'll be interesting to see how the refs go about reffing the games. Without a flavorable reffing, ie without lopsided PP, Oilers won't be wining a lot of games and it'll be a short series.

In the intermission of the Seattle-Dallas game, they just showed a clip of Mark Stone appearing injured at practice.

They might be the easiest championship won by a team and not because they dominated they are playing Mickey Mouse opponents. What a joke.

Everything is playing out perfectly for the grease so far. No major injuries, weak goaltending opponents, high seeds getting taken out early, etc. It really couldnt be much easier of a path IMO. Kinda fits the lottery ball team theme.

Oilers haven’t lost in regulation in 21 games. Going to be curious to see if they continue that trend.

That has to be concerning considering he just came back from his 2nd back surgery. One has to wonder how much longer until he calls it a career.

Seriously? Does Rogers not have a play by play tandem that aren’t unabashed Oiler fanboys?

Dallas Eakins is so dis-likeable on the panel broadcast. Seems like he's selling himself as a motivator or something. Cliche machine.
