Was debating for the last few years, leaning heavily towards canceling.

But this year, went down to half seasons. Was good to keep my tickets, seniority and playoff rights and then will evaluate next year what to do again. But was just too hard to justify keeping full seasons at the current prices/value and what the demand really is thru the season.

Not a question about season tickets but I'm curious about the timing of single game tickets. Are the Flames really delayed in opening up their ticket sales to the general public? The website says tickets go on sale September 22 and the season begins on October 11. I've looked at tickets in a few other markets to potentially see some Flames road games and all those teams have been selling tickets for upwards of three weeks.

What is going on with the Flames organization?

Looks like they went on sale Sept 23rd last year with the season kicking off on the 13th so seems about on par

Seems oddly late to me. I just looked at most teams and it seems like the Flames are the last to go on sale. Montreal and Ottawa are on pre-sales right now and Winnipeg goes to pre-sale very soon. I think every other team is already open for sales.

Anaheim tickets are still unavailable. At least for the Flames games which are the only ones I want to buy them for.

Los Angeles has all the premier sections blocked out which probably means season ticket holders can't list theirs for sale yet.

Tickets are now available in our STH accounts to manage including options to transfer, sell and donate (but not sure when the tickets for sale will appear on Ticketmaster?)

There is also a new Flames & Wranglers app coming next week to manage tickets/entry with the old Saddledome Live app being discontinued.

Also noticed that FansFirst will be adding AHL Wranglers tickets to buy/sell this season which is great news.

According to the email only preseason tickets can be listed for resale on TM right now; regular season games will open on Sept 22 which is when single game tickets go on sale to the public.

If I wanted to sell those tickets, I would list them here or Fansfirst for much less than my average cost.
Logged into Ticketmaster and it looks like the minimum price for preseason tickets is much lower than in previous years. Assuming that carries forward into the regular season, that's a good thing IMO because it'll be easier to sell some of the lower demand games on TM versus having to go to FansFirst.

Something else I noticed -- there isn't a single Friday night home game all season. In the meantime, the Wranglers have 9 Friday night home games (and a bunch of Friday night road games as well).

Was it the same last year? Seems a bit disproportionate... but what do I know.

Probably be a result of Saturday being the HNiC day, most AHL games being on weekends, and the fact they also have the Hitmen in the building too.

Is the performance by George Canyon the national anthem?

That’s what I know him from

Man, I'm not a season ticket holder but that event doesn't really seem that exciting.

I don't know. Free food, sounds like you get to meet the players. They will have a panel like they usually do, which I think is the fun part. Probably a good thing they started it at noon if Conroy is speaking. Seems like more than they usually do for the STH sessions.

Anyone know any details about single game ticket presale starting tomorrow?

I see general public starts Friday at 10 AM but there's a Ticketmaster and Member presale listed as starting at 10 AM tomorrow.

Is there going to be a code floating around tomorrow?

Thoughts on what games will be one of the most sot after games of the year outside of the battle of Alberta? We do a snake draft between me and a few buddies and I had last pick so I want to see if my pick might be inline with some of your guys thoughts?
