6-1 to 6-5 and the Stars pushing and you weren't anxious? Sure Darryl.

That is some impressive delusional salt from the Coiler fans (not that I expected anything less)

I agree. Ive been a huge Markstrom critic all year but if Vladar puts up a stinker he puts up a stinker. Vladar definetely didnt have his strongest game.

But its undeniable the team just plays different and scores more in front of him. Wether its Vladar being a world beater or not he gives the team a confidence in front of them they dont have with Markstrom.

Id still go Vladar next game for that reason alone.

Maybe Vladar has played too many games. Probably needs to sit and rest a while.

Lol I love the Oilers talking smack. The brain trust in that town is walking McDavid right to Toronto. If Treliving had McDavid and Draisaitl, he’d have a couple cups

Id like to see him drop and Pelletier get a chance there. But at the current moment hes holding his own on that line.

According to Rasmus that was because of instruction from the coaches.

Chat gtp at a Pulitzer level:

The Calgary Flames emerged victorious in a thrilling 6-5 contest against the Dallas Stars. Despite a valiant effort from the Stars, the Flames' determined play and clutch scoring proved to be the difference-maker, securing a hard-fought win in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

Had to let the nerves settle before posting. I don't even think Dallas had that many great chances in the third. Somehow the puck just found it's way in three times. The 4th and 5th goals could easily have not gone in and we are all happy.

We won, that's all ai care about now that I've chilled.

That was a fun matinee!

Dallas is a good team. I figured they’d push back, didn’t quite expect them to make it that close - but a W is a W!

Mangiapane - Backlund - Coleman continue to be awesome. I never liked that they broke that line up last season to play Toffoli with Backlund. Keep 88-11-20 together from here on out!

Chatbot failed to note the many Stars fans who left the building late in the 2nd and early-mid 3rd.

Sure was! Though my heart rate was over 120 in the last minute of the 3rd. Not sure if it was the game or the alcohol. Or both. Anyway it's now almost 2am (Sunday) and there's a free game on AHLtv. Let's go Wranglers!

Huberdeau up to 6 points in his last 5 games.
Lindholm with 5 points in his last 5 games.
Toffoli with 6 points in his last 5 games.
Kadri with 6 points in his last 5 games.
Mangiapane with 4 points in his last 5 games.
Coleman with 4 points in his last 5 games.
Backlund with 3 points in his last 5 games.
Lucic with 3 points in his last 5 games.

I suppose that would be "by committee".

High danger chances were 6-6

Not exactly a goaltenders duel

Yeah, you could tell one minute into the game that it was not going to be the goaltenders night

Vladar was ok. I think there were 2 goals that he should have saved, but he was solid for the most part. Wedgewood was probably the same.

If both goalies really brought their a-game, it probably would have been another 3-3 game going into OT.

The offense had to come through today, and it did.

Win the next game and the Flames are positioned pretty well.

Good for them. Slowly improving for the last month and a half.

I don’t think any games with this version of the Flames will be pretty.

Vladar is gonna have bad games. Still getting a W is what matters.

Markstrom's issue is he's not having enough good games and the outcome has been an OTL or L.
