Shame Thanasi couldn't make it to the final in Adelaide again but a pretty enjoyable run for him.
For our population, having de Minaur, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis all playing at such a high level I feel is punching above our weight. But I'm sure you guys know the feeling with Canadian tennis in a very good spot also.
AO first day schedule is out. I'll be at Margaret Court Arena for the night session - get to see Stefanos and then Madison Keys. Not incredible but I'm reasonably happy with that.

I'm not the biggest fan of sport documentaries, but thinking about it now it seems tennis has neglected this kind of thing for a while now. Ohhh first episode focusing on Kyrgios - this should be fun.

Yeah just for whatever reason I thought his semis run in Antwerp was the swan song but I probably got that confused with Simon in Paris since they both lost to Felix.

Completed the five episodes on 'Break Point' on Netflix, I thought the last two episodes were the best of the doc series to date (the next episodes are going to be released around Wimbledon is what I'm hearing). I think it's important to state that this is intended to get non-tennis fans/casual fans interested in the game. I have seen a lot of hardcore fans trashing the series, but these people are not the target demographic as they are already consuming a lot of tennis.

I'll be keeping an eye on the Greek Yogurt - Quentin Halys opening round match, Halys had a fine 2022 on the challenger tour and has a big serve. I won't go as far as predicting an upset, but I would not be surprised to see this match go five sets.
