Nice save but thankfully Stetcher shot it right in the crest, could have been tied there. Flames not playing great. Need to ramp it up here for the last couple minutes and carry it over to the 3rd.

Love Looch standing there in his own zone like a disconnected controller while the Coyote plays with the puck. Guy needs to sit.

Retro reds are the best uniform in the NHL. Come at me.

Kadri line has been the best line tonight.

To be fair the Flames just got away with having too many men on the ice.

Mercifully he only has about 50 more regular season games left with the Flames (hopefully).

Flames letting the Yotes hang around. Not a fan. Scoring the next goal would be preferable.
Backlund line has been quiet.

They didn’t touch the puck, so no dice

Ok, it appears you’re beyond help. (Just kidding. You’re certainly entitled to your own opinion).

This game is playing out exactly as I expected so far. Good jump from Keller and Schmaltz, Vejmelka has been an absolute wall.
Can't believe the Coyotes found Vejmelka — he's genuinely one of the best young goalies in the league (and signed to a sweetheart deal).
Fun game. Rooting for overtime!

I may be proved wrong, but to me Huberdeau is one of the top 20 players in the entire league. At any position.
He'll be fine, give him a bit more time.
Tkachuk had similar issues his first 30 games with Sutter.
22 points in 30 games. People (and he himself) complained about his ice time, rumors of a rift between the two of them.
Especially at 5v5 all of Gaudreau, Lindholm and Tkachuk didn’t produce a ton those first 30 games under Sutter as they learned to play a more responsible 200ft game.
Gaudreau: 15 in 30
Tkachuk: 14 in 30
Lindholm: 13 in 30
Huberdeau: 7 in 21 (10 in 30 pace)
So off the pace of those guys still too but I’d argue since his was a trade he probably had an even bigger overall adjustment to make.

Liking what I've seen tonight. Flames finally seem to be settling into the season now.
