Maybe a forward stands there and lets someone else score.

Well you think he would atleast look dangerous on the powerplay.

team is it's own worst enemy with the stubbornness to try nonsensical things when the solution is straightforward and under their noses the whole time

A big part of a coach's job is to get the most out of his personnel. If Sutter gets credit for last year, he definitely deserves criticism for this year.

Man, our lines are so diluted its painful to watch. The NHL doesn't work this way. Load up the top 6 and play them way more than the bottom six.

There's a reason why almost every team does that.

if you actually have an issue with the kind of hockey played that period by the Flames you might need to re evaluate

they just need finish / a couple second chances . that's it

having a line or two of all skill players might help with that but the coach is going to play his 4 d chess
I see a lot of zone possessions ending with unforced turnovers and defensive breakdowns. Shots from the perimeter and maybe 2 good high danger (yet somehow not dangerous) shots out of those 16 shots.

Halfway through the second - Corsi% is 22.22

So I guess the board just uses the Game threads to moan I'll have a bit of a rant. Nobody told the schedule makers that Canadians have a different Thanksgiving? "Friday at 12 PM for a Canadian fanbase with no holiday, yeah that works." what on earth. Thanks NHL my bad for having a job.

I interpreted his comment slightly different.

They don’t care. Canada is not a market they need to appeal to or attract new fans in.

Makes sense to have a day game in the US. I’m sure they’re fine with lower TV ratings up here for one game.

Putting Lewis with Lindholm is such a joke. Dude has one season left after this one…you think he’ll be happy going from Gaudreau and Tkachuk to Ruzicka, Lewis and Toffoli?

We’re all smashing our heads against a wall here with these lines combos…just yikes.

I hate to say it but I’m starting to sour on Sutter a bit.

Not that firing him would make a difference, but these lines are not fun to watch.
