I really wasn't surprised by either of the votes. James had overstayed his welcome as you can never act like the king of the beach in this game.
I'm really enjoying the game from both Sami & Karla, although I'm shocked that no one is taking Noelle as more of a threat as of right now. I don't see how you can take her to the end with her story and now a big move on her resume.

I definitely think Ryan over valued the whole 'provider' thing. I don't doubt it was appreciated, but it doesn't seem to hold the same weight it once did in this game. Ryan had zero social/strategic gameplay and I would have kept him around. Cassidy was the vote last night with James already gone.
Big move by Noelle who seems quite bossy on the beach. I wonder what is allowing her to fly under the radar right now.. do people under estimate her at the final challenges because of her leg? That would be a mistake, she has shown she is a challenge beast and will literally hop across the finish line if she needs to.
My next vote would be Jessie though, he is definitely the biggest threat right now.
I would be pretty happy with just about anyone winning right now though out of who is left. Should be a good finish.

That reward challenge was a really impressive display of determination by Noelle.

I turned on my tv last night at 6:55. The audio comes up first, just as Jeff says "Noelle, the tribe has spoken, time for you to go." Really bad timing, and to be on that channel!

Just watched, damn it. I wasn't sure about her as a pick at first, but she was a very very strong competitor, that reward challenge was just awesome. Nobody wanted to sit next to her at the end. Don't blame them for voting her out. Crappy for me.

Well, that was a pretty impressive performance by Noelle in the reward challenge. I have to wonder if that would have been easier for her if she'd gone for the foot-leg over the blade-leg. Still pretty good.
A nice blindside too, and I was wondering when they were going to get around to voting her out, as she was starting to really make a solid play for the end.

Very strong showing by Noelle, I expect her to be back at some point. She was a great well rounded player.
Also a very well orchestrated blindside. I have a hard time believing Jessie doesn't win this based on the edit. But I think Karla is a good sleeper pick as well.
If I am Cody, I flip on Jessie right now. You can't sit beside him at the end he beats you hands down. And for your resume you need to have a hand in his downfall.

That immunity challenge today was extremely impressive! Shocking to watch really.
I have to say the let down of the season has definitely been the lack of big moves from players. I applaud Noelle for using her advantage to make a move but nobody has even tried to flush an idol and every episode we see Gabler talk up a big plan and nothing ever comes to fruition. Tribal has become extremely predictable unfortunately.
I'm pretty sure there is what 4 idols left in the game? Gabler (maybe), Karla and Jesse x2? When have we seen that in a past season going into the final 6?
I really hope Gabler or Owen can stir things up somehow but it's not looking great.

I don't know why they didn't set the grate level 10-20cm lower to ensure high tide was a swamping one.
Agree on the predictable tribals. With all those idols, Owen, Casidy and Cody are in trouble. It's going to be an idol blowout round. Whoever Jessie figures helps him the most is safe, I guess.

You get immunity! You get immunity! Every. Body. Gets. Immunity!
No, Oprah Winfrey hasn’t usurped hosting duties from our man Jeff Probst, but Wednesday’s immunity-palooza on Survivor made it seem like she might’ve been puppet-mastering from behind the scenes.
This week saw the return of another tried-and-true challenge from the show’s history: Last Gulp. You know, the one where the players are in the water under a grate, and as the tide rises, they have less and less room to breathe? It’s a Survivor staple. Only this time, two players outlasted even the South Pacific ocean as they remained in the competition until the water began to recede!
Ultimately, Sami was voted out of the game unanimously since no one could trust his constant flip-flopping and middle-playing. He did use his Hail Mary option — the Shot in the Dark — but when Jeff unraveled the teeny, tiny scroll it read: NOT SAFE. Also noteworthy this episode: Jesse. This guy is constantly impressive. Not only did he see that Karla was attempting to bond with Sami, but he also saw opportunity in using Sami’s vote-out to tear Karla and Cassidy apart.

5. Cheese - Lindsay Carmine / Sami Layedi
6. Fuzz - Owen Knight / Dwight Moore

9. Regulator75 - Geo Bustamante / Cassidy Clark
10. Hockey- Jeanine Zheng /Geo Bustamante
11. mikephoen - Sami Layedi / Jeanine Zheng
12. chummer-Cody Assenmacher / Jesse Lopez
13. White Tiger - Justine Brennan / Ryan Medrano

16. jg13 - Morriah Young / Owen Knight
17. surferguy - Mike Gabler / Mike Gabler

With Sami's boot both mikephoen and myself are deep sixed!

I was disapointed in Owen for just going with the flow. While immune, he really should have tried to initiate some sort of strategy for his own game instead of just doing whatever Jesse told him to do. He constantly whines about always being lied to and on the wrong side of every vote, but this tribal he just sat there with a stupid grin on his face happy to forever be the bridesmaid.
At least try to take some agency when given the opportunity. Why didnt he try to convince Gabler, Sami & someone else to blindside Jesse?

Well, it was impressive to see players outlast the ocean. I have to hand it to Cody...Owen is not who I'd have picked to outlast the tide.

Cassidy was my top pick she seems to be very good at these types of challenges. Quite a bit of mental fortitude.
That being said, I can't believe they didn't vote her off last night.

What an episode! I think it's safe to say if Jesse makes it to the final 3 he will most likely win in a shutout and quite possibly have played a top 5 game of all time. Post merge he has played flawless. In charge of the vote every time while never being targeted.
That being said I think he won't make the final 3 and I expect Cassidy to win in a blowout.

So Cody gave his idol back to Jesse????? Why????
Great job by him but painful way for me to get bounced from the pool. I don’t understand what Cody was doing.
