Because I’m reliably told when a team is down 3-1 having been generally outplayed and could have made it 3-2 except a late goal was called back that it didn’t really matter. Because they were always going to lose.

It is inevitable that the Avs will win. No point in even playing game 6 and in fact the winning goal in game 5 should have been disallowed for efficiency sake.

I think the Lightning proved in game 4 that they could not keep a lead either (like the Flames proved beyond a shadow of a doubt in Game 2) and they proved that they could not close out a comeback in Game 1 (much like the Flames proved in Game 4). I am at a loss as to why they are even playing game 6. Sure the Lightning can lay the boots in one game (like the Flames did in Game 1) but the beating they took in Game 2 (like the Flames took in Game 3) proves there is no point in playing game 6.

Well Shesterkin beat him out this year and Markstrom was a finalist and they dont get to play behind Hedman.

I dont disagree though, I think Vasilevsky is the best goaltender this league has seen in a long, long time.
