I see McDavid got a McDavid hat trick - 1 goal, 3 assists and a minus.
And his side kick also with the McDavid hat trick.
I get a kick at the last two minutes when those 2 don't see the ice. Can you imagine what the rest of the team feels like when the message is, "now that we are losing and really, have no hope of winning, it's time for you plugs to get some ice time."

Look first of all, the non sutter flames would have found a way to lose this.
If Markstrom played his normal game this is 9-3.
When the Flames had the Oilers in their end it was men against boys. When the Flames locked it down near the end it was men against boys.
Smith is hot and cold, he had his hot streak.
I think the Flames had a bit of an emotional let down after the Dallas series, and will be better on Friday. I think the Oilers shot their bolt tonight.
So many weird bounces for the Oilers.

Sure Edm scored 6 goals but let’s be real, this should’t have been a close game.
Players driving the net and getting to rebounds was day and night compared to the Stars. And it helps not shooting on a brick wall anymore.
Shutting down that PP was absolutely huge. I’m sure Edm will come out stronger in game 2. What a killer that would have been to lose this game.
Let’s win game 2 and go up North to Shelbyville up 2 - 0!
