The Flames suddenly look like a very ordinary hockey team.

Maybe the book is out on this team. Clog it down defensively, and they can't generate any good chances.

Just before they cut to commercial, they had a shot of Lucic swearing and giving it to somebody on the Flames bench.....

Boy if the Flames lose two in a row this place will melt right down.

This is a terrible, knee jerk take.

They are not getting any puck luck at all, last 2 games the visiting goaltender is sporting a .984 save percentage, that's not sustainable, Calgary is due for a big third

This is my bad guys.

After not attending a flames game in 5-6 years, I got tickets to the Colorado game and this one. Apparently they play like dog sh*t when I attend a game live.

Dillon Dube is the only flame who looks engaged tonight. Fml

Yea, I'm gonna stay away from the forum for a couple of days if the Flames end up losing this one. It'll be unbearable doom and gloom around here for sure.

I hope that's not the case. With very little games left it's not the time to reinvent their game.

it's been like this for a few weeks now. Unless you count a track meet against Edmonton and a win against Arizona.

Gotta go all the way back to...NJ for a good game?

I've been thinking that they've been looking a bit tired for a while now. Ever since they had that gauntlet week with 5 games in 7 nights.

Before the end of the season they will lose consecutive games, whether its now or later.

You know who else has lost twice in a row multiple times lately?

Colorado.

The trick is for us to not jump to wild irrational conclusions like "the league has the book on us now".

Ffs, just don't please.

4-2-1 coming into tonight with 58% xGF over the last two weeks exactly.

Things tighten up down the stretch and bad teams like Buffalo go on little runs to end seasons all the time.

Nope. They also had a dominant 5-2 win over the 'Nucks during that span, and they beat Tampa Bay convincingly back on March 10th.

No, you're right. I just think that there are quite a few that have watched this team for many, many years, and are always fearing the worst. Need to breathe...

Just takes a few periods for the morons to pipe up. Boys are tired, the games aren't meaning as much during this grind. Nothing more to it.

The Canucks win was good. But the canucks are bad.
