Shoutout to the Flames crowd tonight. Every GFG was loud and proud!

Let's make the saddledome a rockin' place every single game!

i thought the crowd sucked until last 5 mins in the 3rd and OT. But, there was a good wave going for a few mins!

One mistake does not a goat make ... or something like that.

Markstrom was the team's best player and the OT misfire was an unfortunate end. But the team gets another important point while the top line sleeps.

One of the only games I was only able to watch peripherally. I’ll do better tomorrow.

For those disappointed with the Flames tonight, a view from the Buffalo press.

Lots of praise for the Flames who they call Stanley Cup contenders.

Sane way they let Markstrom’s Billy Smith go just beforehand

(But I agree, Hanifin got a penalty on a toe pick)

From that article: "This was the Sabres' first shutout since Oct. 25, 2019." Glad we could give them their first shutout of the decade.

Also notable that the Sabres coach thought this was one of their best games of the season. Flames played one of their worst, and still got a point.

Markstrom gaffe was bad but the fact that it had to happen in the first place is the bigger issue.

60 minutes of hockey and you can’t score a single goal against the Buffalo Sabres? Sorry but you barely deserve tbat point, let alone a win.

meh, no need to overanalyze...team didn't play a great game and their goalie made the save of the year otherwise its a win

This is the NHL, Yotes have beat the Avs twice

Flames are 15-1-2 in their last 18 home games

They are likely going to win the division by 5+ points this game doesn't really matter at the end of the day

Hot take: Suits are dumb. Mens formalwear should include items beyond a suit.

Ah well. They just didn't hydrate well enough after their debauchery.

Was at the game. The Flames just seemed off. Low energy and not sharp.

Give Buffalo credit, they played hard and used the stretch pass/tip zone entry very well.

Seeing Markstrom with the flub after a great game was tough. He was really mad at himself and I hope he doesn't focus on that too much.

I have no idea what those ref's were looking at all night, but it wasn't the game. Really obvious (and dangerous) penalties were flat out ignored.

You're predicting another one tonight or not counting any of the 6 they scored against New Jersey?

Shut out twice in the last three games.

Man, we bag on Cassie as a collective from time to time and most of the time it’s like “meh whatever…

But last night was a giant WTF.
That was some of the worst commentary/analysis whatever you want to call it.
Embarrassing

Disagree fully. Also for record Prada sneakers (he was probably wearing as well) are not formalwear either. I don’t care on price.

He’s not working from home. Put on a dress shirt, and don’t look like you bout to hit the club.

Sorry these guys get comped for their suits, there is no excuse.

Both teams looked tired. Sabres were ripe for picking but the whole Flames team was tired

Worst game I attended this season. Not the worst way to be shutout but anytime you are at the dome and no goals are scored it is a letdown. Take the point and hopefully bounce back tonight

Meh, was ready for a trap game like this. Flames were completely off, which made Buffalo look competent all night. I'm sure they are more than happy with how they played.

I'm not even a tiny bit upset at Markstrom either. You put up a good egg all game against BUF of all teams, you don't get to blame the goalie for gaffing the puck like that. Pot a couple and it's not even an issue.

At least the Flames got a point in the loss and they probably didn't even deserve that. Onto the next.
