The Flames honestly looked bored out there tonight. This team is clicking. I find it funny how even the players on the team are saying they still aren't satisfied and have lots to work on. Darryl is really rubbing off on them.
Took my detroit friend for $60 tonight that I went to the game with.
$20 after period 1 that Markstrom would get a shutout
$20 before the game who gets more goals Lindholm or Raymond
$20 before the game flames win by 2 or more without an empty net goal

Took my five year old kid to his first game at the Dome tonight. What a game. He had a blast and so did his mom and dad. Going to get to as many games as I can this year. Something about this team feels special.
Every team in the league should get 2 Saturday 5PM home starts every season. I don’t have any kids, but it was awesome to see them all in the Dome tonight. Do it again, absolutely.
The lineup for Dean Morton was very touching. Lots of Flames stayed in line to pay their respects instead of engaging in the post game centre ice celebration. Lucic and Gudbranson were the last guys in line, Markstrom handed over the game puck, and the officiating crew waited at the end of the rink for a final send off. Morton’s family came out onto the ice for a couple of photos.
This is what makes hockey such a great game.

What did Hrudey say?
During the Edmonton game he made a comment about Sutter that made me sense he has some serious animosity towards him (which seems out of character for him).
I wonder what the story is there?
In Hrudey's book he mentioned that he didn't care for Sutter's coaching style. He took the usual political high road that you see Hrudey doing. Kelly doesn't publicly talk trash about anyone but he wasn't happy how his career ended and Sutter was the coach.

You can really see how far away from competitive the Wings are. Calgary looks dangerous every time they cross the blue line, and at the other end there’s no space to operate. Defensively, this is an awful team. It’s growing pains, in a way, because the most glaring weakness on the team is the same position as the strength of the development system. But for the rest of this season, at least, I think it’s going to be hard to watch.
