I was expecting them to play the newer clip right afterwards since Gaudreau and the Flames have been so successful this year, but nope. Such a weird quote to bring up when Johnny is having such a great season.

It was an old clip of him talking about Johnny's 500th NHL game last year, asked "what are you looking to see out of him tonight", to paraphrase, he said "well I hope he has more energy than his 499th game" with perfect deadpan execution

Michael Stone blocked two shots
Lindholm hit 30 goals (I think for the first time?)
Eatbread-Ruzicka-Toffoli line continued to look good
Lucic-Monahan-Dube line looked good but their finish is collectively nonexistent.
Zadorov threw a pretty scary pizza up the middle but otherwise also looked good
Lots of neutral zone takeaways by Flames forewards, really the story of the game
