Yeah, Smith would be my pick too.
Favorite tournament of the year for me.

For some reason I like Oosthuizen this week. Got some money on him. Along with Justin Rose and Si Woo Kim

I put 5 bucks on Mackenzie Hughes about 3 months ago...at 201-1.
So go Mack!!
I expect Scheffler, Thomas, DJ, and Rahm to be around the lead on Sunday.
No idea what to expect out of Tiger.....he has surprised before.
Also be great to see Rory finally do it as well.

It’s just going to be cool to see Tiger again after he almost died. I didn’t expect to ever see him swing a club again.

surprised that the lead is only -1 but no real big names have started yet. Scheffler is on the 1st.

Not a big fan of Tiger's at all, but man it's great to see him out there. Amazing recovery.

What's happened to Matthew Wolff? He's become one of the worst players on tour.
He snapped his club and then he tried to putt out of a bunker.

Same for me. I was not a huge fan back when he dominated, I found it boring that he was destroying the field time after time. I guess I just preferred to see some drama on Sundays. But he's human and I also like a feel good story and would love to see him be competitive again after that injury.

Scheffler is really good. First 7 holes, he was everywhere. It seemed like he was in every bunker but made par on all of them. Now back to back birdies on 8 and 9 and he might take off.

So I was expecting better scoring than we have seen, but the wind has equalized things a bit.
Seeing Tiger walk, you can tell things are not what they once were....a hitch in his giddy-up "if you will". He is striking the ball well but has lost a LOT of distance. Short game is great though for the most part.
Dont like Mac Hughes chances at this point...he is all over the place.
Quietly Corey Conners is putting together a decent round.
So many big names yet to get going and if the winds calm down, may still see a 65 from someone.

Not good. Lowry recovered but Straka shot a 74 and Fleetwood has blown up.

So Smith double bogeys 1 and 18 with 8 birdies in between. Shoots 68.

Yup, it's tough out there. +2 is the current cutline T47.
Mike Weir shot 74, +2!
