Totally reasonable take. Blink and Rise Against were two of my very favourite bands growing up. But if this show was only one or the other I definitely wouldn't pay what we inevitably did.
I hear ya. It’s tough because ticket sellers charge whatever people will pay for them but it is getting to the point where I can’t justify paying the price for the majority of shows.

Just a heads up for anyone that's missed out or has friends still looking. Amongst all the insane resale prices and even primary ticketmaster prices, they did just release a whole bunch of the first four rows in sections in 211 and 212.
These are prime viewing areas for a saddle dome concert. Just a bit back from the stage but similar to Flames games just an excellent feel and angle being over the railing in the second tier.
$200 with fees. Way more reasonable than a lot of worse seats going for $250-$400.

Am I experiencing the Mandela effect? Wasn't Rise Against also booked to be on this tour? I can't seem to find any info on them touring with Blink now.
Good call. Based on the email I got for presale tickets they make it look like Rise Against is on the whole tour. Bit of a bummer but that's alright lol
Yeah, I was hoping for an awesome, old school opener like Weezer or something. Looks like we get a band called Turnstile. I listened to a couple of their songs and......yeah not making any effort to be there early that's for sure.
pretty happy that i only paid 138 for a good location in the 200s to the side of the stage but still a bit in front of it . was a good knee jerk decision to jump on the first day of presales . a classic staple like weezer would have been nice .. I want to rock out to the sweater song

Turnstile is amazing. If you don't see them live I'm going to punch you in the dick.

Okay, I've changed my mind I'll now go and see them to avoid a dick punch. What songs would you recommend of theirs?
I can see why they might not be your cup of tea since they are hardcore punk as opposed to pop punk, but their live shows are so energetic that they need to be experienced. If I had known they were opening I would have got tickets for sure.
These are my favourite songs, performed live:

Picked up 4 tickets - thank you!

Awesome, glad some old school CP'ers picked some up. Turns out these were $650/seat VIP tickets that didn't sell a single seat in the pre-sale and first day of general public sale.
Got converted to regular tickets today when many had already given up looking anymore, and are actually incredible seats (I was literally just looking for curiosity to see how much re-sale were going for after hearing rumours). These are the types that would have been gone right away in pre-sale normally.

Honest question, because I don't know how these things work:
Why can't bands just ditch Ticketmaster and sell their own tickets? I'd gladly pay a small service fee that went directly to the band as opposed to the garbage TM is charging.
We need a revolution in ticketing and the fall of Ticketmaster needs to happen.

Almost every larger venue is contractually tied in with Live Nation/Ticketmaster, as I understand it.
Pearl Jam tried maybe 10 years ago, playing speedways and other independent venues. They had a tough time and couldn't keep it up.
Maybe they tried it again 10 years ago, but it was the 90's where they famously took them on and played tiny music halls 800-3k or outdoor field type venues that weren't tied to ticketmaster.
edit: You may be thinking of the 90's because Pearl Jam from 2005 - 2015 was fully on arena/stadium tours. They played the Saddledome 2005, 2011, 2013, 2015.
