I had to go back and take a look at this a few times.

When he looks up and scans (photo 1), Tkachuk must be at the red line at best (3rd man on for the change). He then feathers it through this group, just out of reach of two ducks, right onto his tape. Just an insane pass. Too bad Rasmus was out of position for the bump back. Safe spot is the middle. He’s actually there in the last shot just before Tkachuk takes that filthy dish.









Also I’m enjoying that clearly Sutter has given Johnny the green light to bolt.

Any period of Flames hockey right now that is an ‘even’ period is a losing period by the Flames. Need to be better and expect domination!

Ducks are hot lately and Flames are on a b2b.

Not terrible to play an even period as the road club.

They can certainly be better though.

I've been wondering this all season, did they build that Sportsnet set for Leslie in Calgary or does he fly to Toronto every time the Flames go on a road trip this season?

That goal is absolutely inexcusable. Multiple opportunities to get the puck out and failed miserably. They deserved to get scored on.
