No team in the West has achieved 96 points and missed the playoffs. The Flames play in the West, so if they get 96 points, they will make the playoffs.

I don't think the playoff race is the magic number to worry about anymore, it's the division title. Down to 5.5 games. Realistically 2-3 wins is plenty, probably need to aim for 102 points to guarantee it the way things are shaping up

Exactly. Forget the black and purple lines (tho the purple snake is gonna look like a bum pretty quick here I think) the real thing is outpacing the Oilers.

Bingo noted that the Oil need to go 9-0-0 if the Flames can maintain 0.500 hockey.
