Right, but the infraction there is compounded by the fact that a player's hands are supposed to be holding his stick. I see it as fairly different.

Two Kraken basically eliminated each other for a tap beside the net on a pass from Eberle with the goalie pulled.

No replay of that because ESPN went faster to SportsCenter then TSN does after a game. Horn had barely ended blaring and they signed off.
TSN will I am sure catch up.

People may not remember but the NHL narrowed the definition for kicked in goals a couple years ago. Nowadays it needs to be more obvious than that to disallow.

Well there isn't any rule that say you need to hold on to a stick when scoring. Anyway I personally don't like the randomness right now or the soccer moves.

I'm just glad it wasn't a 3 point game.

Thinking NHL wanted to keep the Vegas crowd happy.

Enjoyed the game and how the Kraken kept coming even when they were down 3. Geekie is showing why they picked him.

Seattle is lucky it wasn't a blowout...they allowed 15+ odd man rushes and Vegas hit the post 4x

They will need to play a better system if they want to hang around

Skate coming off the ice isn't an actual rule though that is something fans made up. Unless you swing your leg it's a goal these days.

It's also not simply angling the skate. As mentioned before, it was a pushing motion as well, as much as one can with the outside of the foot without falling down, and the whole reason the skate came off the ice was to generate more force to direct it in.

League called it a goal, I agree

the issue will come with the Flames get robbed of something similar...but hey there is no conspiracy the league treats all teams equally right.

Seattle plays 3 games before Calgary plays 1
