Tanev-Kylington should stick for the foreseeable future.

He’s taking the step.

What a great gift he has been so far this season. Good on him for coming in so fit and ready to play! He has been really good and adds some much needed offense to the backend!

I don’t think you can pull out Gudbranson for Kinnvall right now, I haven’t watched all the games but Gudbranson has been surprisingly solid. Has been playing a simple solid game.

I think it's more about pairings than about individuals.

Sutter even mentioned it during preseason... I'm paraphrasing but "You might have a good game, but if your partner didn't, then you might not be playing next game".

Not to take away from the Valimaki-Gudbranson pairing - you're right that they've been a more than solid 3rd pair. But I'd rather have Zadorov-Kinnvall out there than Zadorov-Gudbranson. It's just about being sensible.

Except for the little detail that Kinnvall isn't on the roster, and they would have to waive someone to activate him…

Not sure why we are trying to find a partner for Zadorov....Stone makes a great partner for Zadorov and he should stay there.

Back to Ollie, who really had a game tonight. He was always around the play making things happen, whether for himself or his teammates. He QB'd the play that lead to the Tanev goal. Great pass from Johnny, but the play started with a heads up read by Kylington. And he had a few of those.

He's always had the tools but now you can see the confidence ballooning -- in him and in Sutter. He had one gaffe in the first and Sutter threw him right back out there next shift. We may be witnessing something beautiful.

As an aside, hanifin+anderson looked great tonight. This is getting fun.

I like how tanev probably has a say in this as well. He commands respect on the team. Glad they are gelling

Good to see Sutter sticking with that pairing... it just works.
