I mean, a hit like that in that situation is essentially just an intent to injure, right?
He didn't care about taking the goal away or playing the puck at all, just tried to hit him in the head as hard as possible, while leaving the ice during.

I like Schiefle as a player, but that was an unnecessary cheapshot....
Evans looked out when his head hit the ice.
Schiefle needs to get suspended on that one...not sure what his history is, but deserves a pretty substantial suspension.
