What an awful division. We really picked the worst year to suck.

This is why I'm glad Montreal made it in over the Flames. Their regular season was just as bad as ours, but unlike Calgary they can actually step it up in the playoffs. This is much more entertaining to watch than the Flames laying down for the leafs would have been

I dunno, a year when nobody was forced to witness this dreck in person isn’t the worst year to be awful.

Hoo boy. Leaf nation must be having nightmares right now about all of their previous playoff failures. If Toronto doesn't find another gear soon, the Habs just be able to steal this series.

Third round was some low hanging fruit this season and a really underwhelming team from the north will get there.

Stupid team!

Naa. It’s a bit of an over reaction. Toronto had plenty of chances that didn’t work out. It was a 50/50 but Toronto seemed to have more quality chances. Both teams haven’t played in a week so I don’t think next game Montreal will be that fortunate. Toronto still has the overwhelming chance of winning.

Actually I'd still like Tanev better (as a player).

That was the worst hockey injury I've watched happen since Brian Bedard.

I thought TO had the edge thru most of the game. But Price was great and Marner/Matthews didn’t get much traction. The Tavares thing took a bit of stuffing out of them, plus it messed their lines pretty well.

Huh? Looked fairly innocent until he passed out. No blood nothing. I think we all see worse injuries nightly. It’s unfortunate but it was hardly a crazy looking injury.

No question... whoever does, will. The top teams south of the border are significantly better than anything in this division.

But the prospect of enjoying three rounds of playoffs is fun. Runs are fun.

A knee to the head at a high speed. It wasn't the worst hit or the most violent collision but we don't see worse injuries nightly. Nothing about that looked innocent.

Thats a hot take. He didn't see it till the last second, because of an odd fall that happened in front of him. He tried to jump out of the way. At game speed thats a really really fast play to intentionally think up.

Watching the North Division game vs the other matchups just don't look the same. The North games look so unstructured and sloppy. Far cry from BOS/WSH and FLA/TBL

It was the passing out that got me. You could tell he was out cold. How I feel is subjective though, so your view may be different.
