Hopefully someone can help. I was back flushing my espresso machine and ran it through a few times. I went to loosen the portafilter and there was a lot of pressure. So much that when I loosened it fully, it basically exploded all over. So, I went to redo the backflush, and the portafilter won't go in at all.

Anyone had this? I hope I didn't basically just kill this machine!

Not sure which machine but check the large silicone gasket that the portafilter sits against Maybe out of place or something. Can’t imagine anything else.
