All season long there’s been rushes against the Flames and when I see Tanev is the D I sit back in relief. Has he been walked at all this year?

Ugh. If Sportsnet absolutely has to have a female analyst, can the get someone better than Sarah Nurse?

Maybe Emily Kaplan or Alison Lukan...

What Stone did that no other Flame D does from the point...take the puck, move along the line changing position and then unloading.

The rest are like statues on the line and shoot from where they receive it.

The only conclusion to be made is that Stone is our most mobile defenseman.

Right. Chicken and egg.
Same for every other winger they played with.

No. If he senses even a small chance of contact , the puck and him are out of there.

Safety first.

Mangiapane getting an assist while falling down has to be a chug your beer in the Flames drinking game.

I've not seen many games he's called to date, but I was pleasantly surprised overall. Quite a bit of accurate reporting and some credit to the Flames.
Hard to really complain thusfar.
Seriously? Different strokes I guess, but Jack Michaels is the absolute worst for me. I can’t stand him.

I’m all for having more diversity in commentary, but I’m not feeling that Nurse is adding much. Like come on. Leah Hextall was a pro. Kendall Coyne is a pro. This? You don’t put any woman on. You have people that actually have good input.

They are so similar in editorial content and homerism so it’s an honest mistake. I think that the dictionary calls them synonyms.

I think you are referring to Johnny and that's true. And sad too lol. I was just defending Ritchie, he turns the puck over because he has no linemates to pass to. At least he gets to the puck. Unlike his centre.

Well, He's far from my favorite, no doubt. He's just not as bad as I feared from what I've read here.

Monahan is too busy being the only forward on the line playing any D. Then he, the slowest guy on the line, is supposed to be the deep forechecker too? OK.

He isn't playing any D. He is mindlessly hovering around.

Right. It was was lucky he hovered into McDavid to take him down and get the puck, or when he dug the puck out and gave it to Ritchie (who turned it over and led to a penalty).

Would be nice to get a PP and score. I think they'doosen up a bit and maybe play a good game. They looked much better after getting the lead.

All I know he is more engaged and he handles the puck better than Monahan.

Monahan is the 6.375 million invisible man.
