Ward blaming the schedule.

Ward says five games in seven nights is the problem.

I just kinda wish the coaches, players, Tre, ownership all would just hold a joint press conference to say they've checked out and sorry you wasted your time. We are regrouping and will think about being better at hockey next year when you are again required to pay us for this. Let's bottom out and get a pick that we can only hope turns into the next Sean Monahan.

It still blows my mind that the Flames highest ever draft pick turns out to be a dud and the next season the Oilers win the lottery to draft McDavid.

why am i a fan of hockey

Ward talking all sorts of excuses, and throws some shade on Rittich for the 3rd and 4th goals it seems.

I can't explain just how much I dislike Geoff Ward. Worst coach in the history of this team.

He isn't being accountable for his own mistakes. Rubs a lot of us the wrong way. I really want him gone.

Flames looked very good against the leafs, and fans thought so too

Fans always jump on coaching when they have a bad game.

A few other things

But way more condescending.

In Ward’s defense he has been without his top center Byron Froese for a few games now

Imagine being as casual as Ward was following that effort.

Hard not to understand the country club atmosphere.

Torts would throw his podium.

I think it’s clear that we are a team full of complimentary players. We don’t have a single player that can carry a line and drive play

Plus he didn't expressly agree with Lucic, who I thought said all the right things.

It seems like Lucic knows more about winning than Ward.

Ha ha are you kidding? Rittich was the only reason the Flames came out with 3 points in Toronto and he throws him under the bust when Wards team was basically a no show in all three games?

Right? Excuses. No emotion.

I somewhat feel bad for him. He is not a head coach. He is way beyond his comfort zone.

Man I miss Peter Maher, what a legend. For all the crap Cassie Campbell takes, and I'm not a fan, I would listen to her broadcast a game over Wills every day of the week. Holy crap this guy is tough to listen to, the only way recently for me to catch the games is to listen on the radio and goddamn is it painful. His goal calls are the worst. And....he.....SCORes! Yeah thanks man i can hear the horn in the background it went off 20 seconds ago.

The goalie has to be other worldly in order to win games playing behind a Geoff Ward coached team.

Have no fear though, Ward's influence got to him by game 3.

Just wait until this year when we get one of our highest draft picks ever in a year where none of the draft eligible players are playing and it's all a crapshoot.

I didn’t get the vibes of Markstrom being ready for Saturday from that answer about Ward, talking about we will focus on the team available currently.
