The gap is too big as forwards are blowing the zone too quickly. The Flames will get in trouble if they keep doing that.

That was a lame Canucks powerplay. At one point, the zone entry was done by the D while all 3 forwards were back in their own zone. Is that their standard plan?

Don't think so. The puck was all the way down at the other end and they changed 3 of the 4 guys. Broadcasters specifically commented on it.

Just not enough defensive minded defensemen on this team I guess.

That sure looked pretty divey.

That being said, the Canucks 2nd line with Horvat is clearly a step above the Flames' offering. The depth really needs to be the difference (and with Ryan scoring so far so good, but they need to keep it up).
