First touch was a bad one. Pushed it too far ahead of him and onto a weird angle so it was an awkward second touch to try and raise it. Still should’ve been able to.

Everyone that tries that fricking backpass should get shocked with a cattle prod when they get back to the bench. The Hawks will eat you alive...and they are.

I always try to be positive because negativity does nothing... but they are really ticking me off. I sense a booing off the ice.

And I was right. Good.

2020 will mark eight whole years since a major midseason player-for-player trade by the Flames. Eight years! So many seasons gone totally by the wayside without making a single substantial move to try and change things up without totally altering the direction of the team (ie rebuilding).

How is that even possible?

I was about to say it is starting to look that way, but it goes back a while.

The failure to strengthen the team at the trade deadline when we were clearly trending downwards was telling point.

End of 1st.....Boooooooooo

This team is lucky there's a trade freeze for the holidays. I would have traded half the roster by the end of this first period.

Just a disgusting effort against this pitiful Blackhawks roster.

I'm all in on a Gaudreau trade at the moment. I just don't think he gives a ####.

I would start with how many major player for player mid season trades happens at all
The cap is a huge factor in those deals not being made anymore

Embarrassed on home ice again. Either the commitment or ability isn't there to play a strong team game. We rely on skill only and that always comes and goes no matter how good you are. This is exactly why we shouldn't be looking to add more skilled, soft players for big assets.

Wanting to be closer to home after something like that is understandable.

That Gaudreau for Morgan Frost, a 1st, and another player/prospect package people have proposed is sounding good to me right now.

This team looks broken right now. Every player is worse than they should be and can be. What a ####ty decade as a Flames fan.

I miss having fun at games.

I do hope we can get rid of these incompetent star players before finish building the new arena. We cannot continue to put garbage onto a silver plate.
