Kylington with the opportunity to get more ice in New Jersey would be beneficial to him. But, I do like him on the bottom pairing.

I don't see anyone including a top 4 defenseman for a rental

I really don't see where Hall (and whatever his salary will be) fits on the Flames roster as it sits now.

Tkachuk/Gaudreau/Hall all LH LW's....who is the one who gets limited ice compared to the other two?

If you go big game hunting and look at the needs of the Flames, Hall is truly one of the last guys you would look at.

A RS/RW or a really good C would be what BT covets I imagine, otherwise he would just stand pat with the team on a heater.

No need for Hall at the moment, let Colorado or Arizona pay up. Maybe if he's available this summer and he's willing to sign here you could look at moving Gaudreau for a king's ransom. That way you could at least shore up the C/RW issues, but for now the best course of action is to pile up picks and prospects as much as possible and re-stock the cupboards.

I guarantee you all these people saying they would do that trade would be bitching non stop about Hall either because his decisions on the ice constantly costs us goals or he is out injured again. Trading Dube in a deal for Hall would be Chia levels of stupid on Tre's part and would handicap this team for years.

I'm torn. On the one hand, I don't really want to see the Flames trade a first rounder for a guy like Zucker. Such a player is a solid add, but does he really move the needle to turn the Flames into a true contender? We have seen how the team looks when Monahan and Gaudreau are shut down and does a guy like Zucker change that?

So I'm OK with big game hunting, but just not sold on Hall as the guy. Problem is, big time players aren't available all that often.

One thing I'm quite sure of. Treliving not basing his thinking purely on how team has played in last two weeks.

Flames need to be in on Hall to drive up the price for whoever gets him, especially if thafs the Avs. I don't think we should actually give up what it would take to get him or raise re-sign him though.

Five other teams driving the price up is fine.

You don't want to accidentally get stuck with Hall if the music ends, and you're still 'driving the price up'.

Just back out. Nothing official until it goes to registry.

If Hall was a right handed shot I would be a lot more interested. As is I think it would end up a lot like the Jokinen deal where the player just did not fit.

Hard pass on Hall, it will cost us way too much and we will likely regret it.

Hamonic, Bennett and a 1st that becomes a 3rd if Hall doesn't re-sign.

I’d imagine if you are a GM who pulls out of deals, you will likely find it hard to get in on deals

GMs who pull out don’t get stuck with babies they don’t want on their teams.

Would make sense for flames if a reasonable extension could be had, especially with core players locked in for multiple seasone, the cap potentially going up substantially, and frolik/Brodie/hamonic/talbot/czarnik coming off the books. It would effectively give the flames three solid scoring lines.

A lot of deals happen every year but one team backs out.

Like I said before I think Hall signs here in the summer and I would rather not pay what the Devils are asking 4
