Well, I guess I'm done. I did not find a deal on an ultrawide monitor that I liked. So, today yielded the following sale items.

Ring video doorbell pro with echo show 5 - 244
Crucial MX500 2TB Sata SSD - 220
Logitech G602 wireless mouse - 39
Bissell Pet Spot Cleaner - 75
Some steam purchases - <100

Any decent Android tablets out there? Looking for something fairly stock for my kid. Amazon Fire probably won't work as we have a rather large Google Play library and I don't really want to deal with customization, etc

Movie deals were not great this year, but Sunrise Chinook had all their Criterion movies for $30 from $50 so there's that.

Anyone seen deals on Nintendo 2ds XL? My son wants one, and I told him he should wait for Black Friday sales.

Woof, big mistake going there at 3pm. Ended up noping outta there when attempting to park; probably took about 15 minutes altogether to get out past Shaganappi on 40th Ave.

Their MSRPs have always been highly suspicious.

ComiXology has deep discounts from pretty much every major publisher. All USD but amazing prices if you’re into digital comics.

Edit: looks like Marvel and DC sales were 1 day only and are now over.

Got a 65 inch Vizio M Series Quantum 4K HDR Smart TV, decent scores on Rtings.com, for 700 bucks at Costco in Vancouver. Deal goes until Dec. 12th I believe.

I bought a couple wired switch pro controllers for 17 dollars each @ superstore and 2 amazon fire sticks because my roku doesnt get crave I love the fire sticks for 50 percent off the remote is voice activated if you want it to be and automatically syncs with the tv for 25$ they are a steal right now. Great for the kids who can just talk into the remote and find their shows

Just some advice from those looking at a TV at best buy (anytime really, regardless of Black Friday). I think they're pretty desperate for TV sales in the Calgary area due to our economy, you can really feel it when you talk to them.

Just a hint as I'm sure many feel that they're a big chain and don't really deal, but they do, very quickly. Even on pretty big sale TV's. I ended up going a different route but the Sony X900F (great TV) 65" was $2000, down to $1500 before and during Black Friday. Most would assume as one of their bigger sale TV's that's the price.

But Deerfoot meadows went down to $1400 very quickly with just a quick conversation. And that's straight off the price, not the usual discounted warranty trick.

TLDR: If you're at best buy ask for a couple hundred bucks off on pretty much any $1000+ TV, even on a huge sale, you may get it with little fanfare.

Height is irrelevant - weight and aggressiveness matter. Historically K2's are comparatively longer than their measurement (ie. those 177s will be more like a 180 on another brand), but not sure if that's still true.
