I remember smashing these guys by several goals the last couple season on a few occasions. Aside from binnington, what suddenly clicked for them?
And an even better question: Can the same happen for the Flames?

I thought they skipped the final tv timeout in a period if it came with less than 2 minutes left to play. Maybe that's only in the third period (or maybe I imagined such a rule).

Pro tip:
Commercials happen at the first whistle that isn't an icing or goal after 6 mins, 10mins and 14 mins.
Since there wasn't a whistle after 10 mins until the 17min mark that was actually the half way commercial. The 19:30 commercial was the 14 mins commercial which was extra late because of the complete lack of whistles this period.

Decent period by the Flames. Started a bit jittery, especially Rittich. But the team hung in there, got their skating legs going, and generated a few chances of their own. Just gotta find a way to capitalize.

Good period overall. Just gotta hit the net on good chances.
Didn't like the Bennett penalty. Yes he put his stick in a bad spot but the Blue made sure it stayed there and it never actually hooked him. If the stick doesn't disrupt a player illegally, I don't think it should be called just because it's in the vicinity.
Meanwhile Monahan was hooked on his breakaway I thought, and Tkachuk was blatantly by Dunn which noticeably stopped him from catching the Blue with the puck ahead of him.
