When you listen to Tkachuk speak it becomes obvious he will be the next captain. His leadership on the ice, the way he deflects praise to his teammates, and the ease with which he deals with the media is incredible for his age.

taking it old school! He can and deserves it after that. Scoring goals on the road is something he needed to be better at, hopefully this just boosts his confidence. Loved the win, hope this just turns this around a bit. Helps the team realize that they are good, they are in fact better than last year, they just need to realize that.

So glad I didn’t turn the game off after 2 periods - slowly building amusement through the third period turned into rollercoaster excitement towards then end, and Chucky‘s goal with 1.4s in OT to cap it off - this is the kind of finish we have been waiting for all season!
