He is to some extent for sure, but the Cons need to return to a Progressive Conservative party. Move a little more center and they could win. Heck, a new party that is central could win the next election.

The entire leadership of the party needs to be fired. They are total trash.

Conservative party when Canada doesn't line up to vote for a homophobic double-speaker with no charisma:

Was hoping for a result where both Trudeau and Scheer got replaced. Looks like Scheer and Singh will be.

Liberal Minority being declared.

Prepare for some real Western Alienation.

I'm disgusted that Trudeau got as many votes as he did, I really am. The most corrupt and incompetent and entitled Prime Minister that I've ever seen and Ontario awarded him.

Hold onto your wallets, the Liberals are coming for it.

I mean it's still embarrassing that we re-voted in the most corrupt government in a generation.. This result isn't a win for anyone except for an awful awful PM. Brutal day for Canada really. People thinking this is funny are really missing the big picture.

My first time ever voting in a national election since becoming a citizen.

Such a dissapointing result.

AVK 615 - Raitt 575

Not a good sign...unless it means Raitt would be freed up to start a non-terrible party.

NDP are supposed to be a national party yet the BQ currently is up by 12. This country is ridiculous.

I mean sure, the NDP didn't have a chance to form a government, but they could have taken a bunch of seats off of them. Is Trudeau really a significantly better candidate than Stephane Dion? The guy has been a train wreck. With the right leadership and the right message, I do think the NDP could have made some noise in this cycle, but Singh tripped over himself repeatedly right out of the gate, and apparently there's no second chance at a first impression because this is... not a good result for them.

The Conservatives blew it too, mind you, I just don't know that I'd be able to say which party blew it worse.
