Story of the night for the whole top line i'd say, wouldn't lay that just on Monahan.

Cripes that's a beautiful record.
I remember thinking it would be cool to have double the amount of wins than regulation losses. Now I want triple!!!

Didn't get to watch the game but saw the goals. Boy, 3 of 4 goals by Detroit should've been stopped by Smith. Guess he just isn't going to get better at all, eh?

Peters looked really pissed at the presser. Think he has alot to say to the team about thier defensive coverage tonight. If this was a loss he would have mostly been calling people out.

I don't know; With D.Sutter teams you pretty much knew which games the Flames were expected to win. They were very hard working teams. Good to see this team maturing the same way! Darryl was very detail oriented and could identify a problems pretty quickly. People have mentioned this trait with Peters as well.

Based on tonight, how about a 3rd line of Bennett-Ryan-Neal? Give it a shot for a couple of games?

Man people are critical.

Detroit was pretty good tonight, especially Larkin. Give them some credit. On the other hand, Calgary could have scored 9 or 10 and it would not have been an indictment of Howard's play.

4 points up on the sharks
7 points up on Vegas

All with equal games and the Flames hold the ROW advantage so its like 5 points up on the sharks and 8 on Vegas

Oh and then we're like 18 points up on the next team in the Pacific which is Edmonton.

Oh it gets better

3 points up on the Jets after all the bragging about how awesome the jets were they can eat me.

7 points up on Nashville
17 points up on Colorado

Yeah, if you'll excuse me, I'm just going to absorb and

The Kings are the lowest scoring team in the league right now, they have scored 108 goals.

The Flames have scored 78...........in 3rd periods.

Great pick.
Making him a mainstay on PP2 is going to pay off in a huge way. Two dangerous PP lines makes this team scary.

Oh and I really want to lash out.

The Leafs Canada's team trailing by 7 points, yeah they have two games in hand but all that means is if the Leafs win those two games, they still are worse then us.

Oh and for all their offensive fire power. The Flames are averaging 3.71 goals a game. Now hang on and enjoy that number for a minute, 3.71 goals a game. The Leafs 3.53 goals per game.

Suck it leafs nation, suck it

Has Lanny ever weighed in on Bennett’s tribute stache? I’d imagine he loves it. But I’d be curious if he’s been asked about it yet. Benny better keep that on for the rest of the season!!!

I wouldn't have blamed Smith if they lost, he made more crucial stops than bad goals overall. Wish he learned to stay in his net more, but can't teach an old dog new tricks.
